Måne means moon, and refers to the appearance of this mix of clays, vitamins, and dried flowers. Here comes the ingredient breakdown...

- Kaolin clay: regulates skin oiliness
- Moroccan lava clay: packed with nourishing minerals
- Green clay: in the mix for its capacity to brighten skin
- Vitamin C: repairs sun damage from UV, and protects against future UV damage. Can also help in building skin elasticity and upping collagen production, which translates to anti-aging. Skin brightening.
- Chamomile: soothing for sensitive skin. Provides a calming element to the mask and a wonderful scent. When washing the mask of, the little bits of crushed flowers also provide some gentle peeling.
- Allantoin: smooths and moisturizes skin, heals imperfections like acne scars.
- Hyaluronic acid: a powerhouse humectant. Can hold 1000x its own weight in water, which it brings with it into the skin where it hydrates and plumps (-> reduces fine lines)
- Aloe vera: also a humectant as it is in the form of a dried powder. It is a skin conditioning agent that stimulates tissue reformation, with additional soothing and calming effects.

To use this mask, mix about 2 teaspoons of the blend with just shy of the same amount of water. Spread the paste thinly over the skin of the face and let sit for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat skin dry with a soft towel. Follow with face oil. Some redness of skin is a normal effect of the vitamin C and subsides within a few hours.
